Ways to Volunteer

Volunteer Now

Your time matters. Volunteer with the Central Florida Children’s Home and make a difference in the lives of children who have been abandoned, neglected and abused.

The Central Florida Children’s Home relies on volunteers to assist with fundraising activities, maintain the grounds and to use your professional skills to provide various tasks, projects, and services. Your time – whether it’s an hour per week or several hours per month – can help us fulfill our mission.

Our volunteers make our work possible, and you can touch the lives of children and families in need. It is only with the support of our community that we are able to make the Central Florida Children’s Home a safe refuge for those in need.

Professional Volunteer Opportunities May Include:

Auto Mechanics, Carpenters, Dentists, Landscapers, Orthodontists, Painters, Physicians, etc.

We appreciate those who give their time and talents to our mission. We encourage groups to help us fulfill our mission by volunteering just  a few hours or half a day to assume responsibilities for a variety of projects.

We also have a Thrift Depot where volunteers can donate their time. The Thrift Depot accepts a wide range of donations to sell and rely heavily on volunteers to maintain the store. This enables us to have a minimal staff and therefore, provide much needed funds to our Home.

The success of the Central Florida Children’s Home depends on the contributions of volunteers and donations. We provide support, care and medical services for children and families in need. We are committed to helping abandoned, abused and neglected children by providing a stable and loving Christian home for children between the ages of 5 and 18. These children are able to live, learn and grow in a safe refuge, and we invite you to join us so that you can make a difference.

It is only with the support of our community that we are able to make the Central Florida Children’s Home a safe refuge for those in need. For more info on how to volunteer with Central Florida Children’s Home please contact us today.
